Rather than revisiting the past, the project reinterprets the raw energy, lyricism, and conscious messaging that defined his early sound through a modern lens. Across 10 tracks, Kabaka pairs hard-hitting hip hop-influenced production, reggae basslines, and soulful samples with themes of upliftment, militancy, reflection, and spiritual resilience. Kabaka Pyramid is a Grammy Award Winning conscious revolutionary lyricist with a signature musical style; blending the power, energy and melody of Reggae with the lyricism of Hip hop.
A key pillar of the Reggae Revival movement, the Kingston Jamaica native carved his way into the Jamaican reggae scene in 2011 with his project Rebel Music.
He is now revered worldwide after a decade long career including his “Lead The Way (Deluxe Edition) ” EP, “Accurate” and “Immaculate” Mixtapes as well as his debut album “Kontraband ”.
